Congrats to Pizza, Ven and the entire Waste Knot family on taking 2nd in the Bermuda Billfish Release Cup, as well as the mother-son angling team of Gretchen & JT Coley on winning top lady angler and top junior angler!
The team on Waste Knot (Jarrett Bay hull 54) with Captain Patrick “Pizza” Kannan and mate Pete Zook caught a white on day one for junior angler JT Coley and followed up with a blue for lady angler Gretchen Coley. This was the first billfish for nine year old JT so he and mom did the traditional saltwater plunge to celebrate. Waste Knot did not score on day two but their 700-points from day one was enough for second place team honors winning $900, top junior angler for JT Coley and top lady honors for Gretchen Coley.
The Fa La Me won the event and Over Budget took 3rd.
