Started in mid-January, Jeff Burton’s custom Jarrett Bay is unique in many ways, including the unprecedented 1 year time table (Our larger custom builds can take 3 years or more). We’ve been trying to document the crazy pace surrounding the hull in photographs, and we also followed through with the idea to set up a time lapse rig in the construction facility.
First up, a montage of photos taking you from the very beginning of the construction process, up through the final framing which took place in the beginning of March:
Then the time lapse, which is comprised of one still taken every working hour from February 12 through March 11:
This is our first foray into time-lapse, and it will certainly be a big challenge to capture an entire year of construction, but we’re really excited with the results so far! Keep an eye out for periodic updates, because we plan to add to the time lapse several times throughout the construction process.
