Jarrett Bay Boatworks is pleased to share that IMS American Marine Electronics is now onboard to ensure that NASCAR No. 31 icon Jeff Burton receives the latest & greatest that the marine electronics industry has to offer for his 46′ custom sportfish.
The 46’s navigation electronics will be based on Furuno’s rock solid NavNet technology, utilizing black box processors to feed the 15″ KEP glass bridge displays. These will keep the lines clean and provide Jeff with enough room to monitor his radar, sounder, plotter, cameras, Sirius Satellite Weather and even his satellite TV system at both helm stations. Icom VHF radios coupled with Comrod antennas will be installed and are the perfect combination for trouble free communications. To round out the navigation package, a Flir Thermal Camera and ACR Searchlight will be installed to help Jeff navigate in the early morning hours on the way to the fishing grounds.
For entertainment, the Burton’s 46′ Jarrett Bay will have a KVH HD7 Satellite TV dome that will give the boat full high definition programming and the Fusion stereo system will provide crystal clear audio on the bridge as well as in the cockpit.
To keep on target with the 2011 Miami Boat Show delivery schedule, the guys at IMS American have already started the initial layout, and will start pre-wiring as soon as the bridge and house are installed on the hull.
