We’re proud to report that Jarrett Bay hull 21, Chainlink won the overall billfish release category of this past weekend in the Swansboro Rotary Bluewater King Mackerel Tournament. Their team released 2 billfish for 600 points and beat out second place boat Piracy on time. Pelagic placed third with 375 and JB hull 26, Weldor’s Ark finished just outside them in 4th with 300 release points.
Weldor’s Ark did have the pleasure of bringing in the top dolphin however, with this 38 lb. beauty caught by angler John Roberts. Another Jarrett Bay boat hull 51, Marlin Fever had the second place dolphin.
