84’ Blank Check & 64’ Builder’s Choice underway for repeat owner
Jarrett Bay Boatworks recently began construction on Hull #59 and Hull #60, both for repeat customers. Perhaps the highest compliment a builder may receive is to have a customer return to build again. In the case of Hull 59, this 64’ undertaking marks the 4th Jarrett Bay for the Huddle family. The Doyles, pleased with the tournament sweeping performance of their 77’ Jarrett Bay – and all too familiar with the somewhat lengthy construction process for an 84’ custom sportfish, are looking forward to more extended travels with the commissioning of Hull 60, set to deliver in mid-2016.
Whether fishing the Big Rock or a family cruise to the nearby Shackleford Banks, Hull 59’s spacious 140 sq. ft. cockpit & three staterooms/three heads will comfortably accommodate the Huddle’s family of anglers and guests. And powered with Cat C32 ACERTS will ensure top performance at any speed for this 64-footer.
Aptly named the Builder’s Choice after the family’s construction business, the evolution of building the 4th boat for the Huddles is a testament to the Jarrett Bay philosophy of treating employees and customers alike as family. Owner Harris Huddle commented, “Finding a builder that understands how our family likes to use our boat and builds that perfect interpretation again and again is more than most can ask for. But to have that same builder go above and beyond for the life of your boat and then some, is more than most can deliver. We’re looking forward to our next adventure with the Jarrett Bay family.”
Hull 60’s MTU 16V2000 Series power package, combined with a 4,000 gal fuel capacity will certainly put domination of the world’s marlin tournament circuit within the Blank Check‘s reach. As one can imagine with an 84’ battlewagon, space will abound with 260 sq. ft. of action to reel in the cockpit, and nearly 22’ of beam to spread out in her five staterooms. The full-beam galley, pantry, six heads and sprawling stand-up engine room further adding to the many functional comforts the 84’ Jarrett Bay will offer her crew.
