Both Jarrett Bay Boatworks (JBBW) and Jarrett Bay Yacht Sales (JBYS) enjoyed record sales numbers at the concurrent shows recently held in Miami. JBBW orders were brisk for their highly anticipated, semi-custom Jarrett Bay 32, which made her debut in Miami. JBBW was equally pleased with the sale of two of their larger, highly customized units in the 60- and 70-foot range. JBYS hit its highest Miami show mark to date with new and brokerage boat sales in excess of $10 million.
“The 2005 Miami showing marked the best show results our two companies have ever attained, and I am certain even more sales will result from the many serious leads generated from this venue,” said Randy Ramsey, JBBW and JBYS President. “These strong sales numbers, combined with incredible growth in 2004 for our JBBW Service Facility and Marine Industrial Park have all of us very excited about the potential 2005 holds for our Jarrett Bay companies.”
The 32-acre JBBW Service Facility posted a sales increase of 20% in 2004, with more than 800 boats hauled by year-end. Adding to their complete roster of marine service related amenities, JBBW has even more to offer with the recent addition of a second 50-ton lift and a fork-lift for boats up to 32′. The 175-acre JBBW Marine Industrial Park is nearly sold out, with only six of the original thirty lots available for sale, and plans for future waterfront development underway.
Ramsey continued, “The vision of all that Jarrett Bay was to be is nearing realization, so we now look forward to solidifying our position as a purveyor of superior craftsmanship through our state-of-the-art JBBW new construction facility; an unrivaled sales support system through our seven Mid-Atlantic JBYS sales offices; and an all-inclusive world-class service provider through our 175-acre JBBW Marine Industrial Park.”
